Mon-Fri 1 st Shift

Pay Range:

$12.00 per hr.

General Job Duties:

  • Works with supervisor and subordinates to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, etc. to meet shipping schedules and deadlines.

  • Oversees shipping activities within scope to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments.

  • Use basic problem solving skills to ensure stable operation of the warehouse

  • Reports problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to Supervisor.

  • Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with Supervisor.

  • Assists with the consolidation and reconciliation of sales orders.

  • Utilizes ERP system to create sales order and liaises with accounting and sales teams on movement/shipping of sales order.

  • Coordinates movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas, as well as building transfers and third-party fulfillment centers.

  • Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repair.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work are to facilitate warehouse functions.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; 3 years experience preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to communicate effectively utilizing English through oral and written communications.

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.

  • Ability to work with others collaboratively.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Experience leading teams or projects strongly desired.

  • Forklift experience and certification
