$13.00-14.00/hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO.

Primary function: Responsible for pulling raw material for factory, taking care of the raw material area. Receiving incoming freight.

RECEIVING INCOMING FREIGHT

  1. Finished goods and Raw materials: identify, check counts and quality of products. Properly label products with part number and quantity. Receive products into ERP system put away in designated factory locations.

  2. Returned goods: complete RGA form including who the product is from, type of product, reason for return and condition of product

  3. Run daily receiving report in ERP system. Review and report any discrepancies to Shipping Supervisor.

MATERIAL HANDLER

  1. Pull material needed by production from Warehouse locations. Taking material from warehouse to specified locations on factory floor

  2. Return all unused material to proper locations in the warehouse

  3. Issue work-orders in ERP system and run register.

  4. Pull any necessary parts to be shipped out to be assembled by a contract service vendor.

OTHER

  1. Assist in various domestic and international shipping duties including loading outbound shipments .

  2. Organization and upkeep of warehouse.

  3. Daily / Weekly Cycle counting.

  4. Assist in continuous improvement projects as assigned .

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to drive forklift.

  • Ability to operate pallet jacks and large pallet scale.

  • Able to work independently and be dependable, must be a team player.

  • Ability to accurately count and record quantities.

  • Must possess good communication skills in the English language including written, verbal and listening

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

High school or vocational school graduate to subjects, mathematics. Able to read measuring devises; ability to read a ruler to 1/16 , ability to read an analog and digital caliper, micrometer. Be able to read Blue prints/drawings. Good organizational skills and be able to multi-task. Able to work independently and be dependable, must be a team player. Must be self-motived with a strong work ethic. Able to drive forklift. Able to lift 70 pounds, must seek assistance if lifting over 70 pounds. Prior receiving experience a plus. Must possess good communication skills in the English language including written, verbal and listening.

  • Standing/Sitting: Physical ability to remain in standing/sitting position especially for sustained periods of time.

  • Stooping: Physical ability to engage in the activity of bending the body downward and forward for sustained periods of time.

  • Walking: Physical ability to move about on feet to accomplish tasks related to the position.

  • Vision: abilities require close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Lifting: Frequent lifting of material up to and including stated weight below.

  • Able to lift up to 70lbs . (Above 70 lbs needs assistants).
