Pay Range:

$10.75 per hour

Job Duties:

  • Under the direction of the Manufacturing Team Supervisor, the Packaging Operator is responsible for packaging all product in boxes and properly palletizing product. The main responsibilities include:

  • Enter data into MATTECH (production monitoring system) to make package changes, work order changes, color changes, and production inventory counts.

  • Read and accurately follow shop orders and instructions for the shop order.

  • Perform water samples for accurate conditioning specifications and properly document issues as a result of samples.

  • Properly label finished product as needed, which includes bags and boxes, according to specifications.

  • Properly stack finished product on pallets according to the skid stacking specifications.

  • Communicate all quality and/or process issues to the Mfg Team Supervisor, Processing Technician, and/or other necessary support departments.

  • Coordinate/help with rework, if necessary, before the product is placed on hold.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.

  • Six months of manufacturing experience required.

  • Basic computer experience to enter data and/or access data required.

  • Ability to read, write, and accurately perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

  • Ability to follow written or oral instructions accurately.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and work for up to 12 hour shifts.

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.

  • Must be a quality conscious, detail oriented individual.

  • Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime as needed is a requirement of the job.

  • Ability to inspect production for quality defects.

  • Good oral and written communication skills
