Pay Range:

$30,000. to $40,000. (DOE)

General Job Duties of the Help Desk Technician:

  • Ability to work independently in a support role providing computer help desk support.

  • Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others and effectively communicate through email

  • Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems

  • Ability to effectively build relationships with customers, superiors and co-workers

  • Communicate with customers via phone, email and chat, providing superior quality service and support.

  • Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about computer and desk top problems

  • Work with departments to resolve inquiries and computer problems and questions

  • Accurately document information in database and resolve inquires, problems or issues

Job Requirements of the Help Desk Technician:

  • A minimum of 3 years computer work experience with high operating skill level in all computer applications.

  • Be dependable and manage the desk with ownership and responsibility

  • Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability

  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

  • Enjoy working with others and taking direction when needed

  • Maintain a friendly and customer service oriented approach to supervisors, co-workers and customers
